Audio Files are the .wav, .aiff, And other files used in your editing session. As with your session, they can be used in one Or multiple cues.
When a Musical Work is assigned, or cross-referenced, to an audio file, the name and rights owners will apply to all cues using the audio.
For example:
From your cue sheet, click Audio Files on the left menu.
Audio files used in the EDL are listed alphabetically.
The file name. Click to view details.
The number of cues using the file.
The audio file's musical work if applied or the musical work field (used to apply work).
Click on musical work field for an audio file.
Suggested Title(s) appear beneath the audio file name (1st column). Kue Sheet attempts to "guess" the title using the file name. For example, "013-This-Song.wav" will have a a suggested title of "This Song".
Click to set the musical work field to the suggestion.
If a musical work already exists that has been used with the audio file, a Matches panel will appear beneath the audio file name.
When text is entered in the work field, any musical works matching the title will appear beneath the text box. Click to apply.
If no matches exist, hit Enter on the keyboard or click the plus link () to create. The entered value is set in the resulting form. Enter info and save.
Click the remove link () next to the work title to remove or "un-apply" from the audio file.
This feature is available on the left menu (not available to Kue Sheet Basic users).
Use it to quickly apply musical works to multiple audio files.
Enter part or all of a file name in the Search field. For example, Enter "TurnAndBurn" to display the "TurnAndBurn01a.wav", "TurnAndBurn01c", and "TurnAndBurn-Edited05a.wav" audio files.
Check the box to the left of audio files to be edited. Alternately, check box at top to select all files.
Enter musical work title in the Apply Work. If the musical work already exists, select from results below the field. Click to right of field to create new musical work.
Click Update button at bottom right to apply musical work to the selected audio files.
